Description
English: Yellow trout lilies or dogtooth violets (Erythronium americanum) are native early spring flowers that have ornamental mottled leaves. If you find one trout lily, you may find many because they form colonies over time. These are an excellent pollinator garden addition, even for shaded locations, Ironwood Supervisor’s Office.
