W przyjęciu uczestniczyło ok. 70 osób - ziemiaństwo ziemi sanockiej. Prezydent prof. Ignacy Mościcki przyjechał do Wydrnej, by osobiście podziękować prof. Klingowi za wyarażoną zgodę przeniesienia się z Uniwersytetu Jana Kazimierza we Lwowie do Warszawy i objęcia stanowiska dyrektora Instytutu Chemii. Byli bowiem bliskimi kolegami i razem wydawali dużo publikacji naukowych.
