DRAGUIGNAN, France (Aug. 14, 2014) Yeoman 2nd Class Kaitlyn Nolan, assigned to the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20), places an American flag on the grave of a fallen World War II soldier during a community service project at the Rhone American Cemetery in Draguignan, France. Mount Whitney, homeported in Gaeta, Italy, is in Theoule-sur-Mer, France, to participate in the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Operation Dragoon, which led to the liberation of southern France by Allied forces during World War II.
