Description
English: World Cotton Centennial - 1884 Worlds Fair in New Orleans Louisiana - illustration by John Durkin from Harper's Weekly.

Shows three scenes. At top, "The Exposition Wharf", shows steamboats unloading at the Exposition's Wharf on the Mississippi River (where the Audubon Park Butterfly is now).

Middle: "Rapid Transit to the Exposition" shows a "steam mule" pulling two cars outside the Exposition Main Building.

Bottom: "Unloading Exhibits" in the Main Hall. Shows men unloading crates from freight cars inside the Main Hall.
