Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Worker home from 1927 in Helsinki as preserved in the Worker Housing Museum. This typical one-room apartment was home to Kaarle, a retired carpenter, his wife Anna-Liisa and their adult daughter Ida and also adult granddaughters Alina and Lyyli, all workers. Multigenerational living and large families in such small homes was typical for the period.
