English: New York City dancers, Instruments of Praise Dance Troupe perform in front of the 106th Rescue Wing members in celebration of National African American History Month, Feb. 6, 2016. The purpose of the National African American History Month celebration at the 106th Rescue Wing is to highlight contributions African Americans have made throughout the history of our country, their struggle for freedom and equality, and to deepen the understanding of our own history as a nation.
