Description
English: The William Reeves House, 2200 Hemphill St, Fort Worth TX, is a Registered Texas Historic Landmark #5845. As stated on marker, William Reeves was a prominent businessman and philanthropist. He founded the first Fort Worth Bank & Trust. The house was built in 1907-08. The house is Neo-Classical revival and Queen Anne styles of architecture. Striking features include round pavilion over the entrance, wrap-around porches with Doric columns and ornate sculptured trim. The award-winning landscape has beautiful diverse trees and an antique lawn clock (not shown).
