Nash, Commanding General of Task Force Eagle, explains the communication system used to keep the Division Tactical Operation Center (DTOC) informed of any actions in theater to a group of senators. Senator Orrin G. Hatch, a Republican from Utah and also the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee (L); Senator Tom Daschle, a Democrat from South Dakota who is also the Minority Leader (M); and Senator Harry Reid, a Democrat from Nevada (R), spent Easter Sunday visiting with troops from their home states at Camp Lisa and Tuzla Air Base, Bosnia Herzegovina and listening to briefings given by various operation cells in the DTOC during Operation Joint Endeavor, 4/7/1996 |
