  • Subjects (LCSH): Wilhard Hotel (Seattle, Wash.)
Built in 1908 by Max Hardman; Van Siclen, Swope & Waterman were the architects. This building is now demolished, but lasted at least until 1970, the year recorded as the closing of its restaurant, the Richelieu. According to an article in the Seattle Times, this, the adjacent New Congress Hotel, Old American Legion Hall (built 1949) and former Seattle Star Building (1907) were all purchased by the National Bank of Commerce and demolished in November 1972 for Diamond parking lots.
