Deutsch: U3-Station Volkstheater in Wien mit dem Glasmosaik von Anton Lehmden.
Das Glasmosaik mit dem Titel „Das Werden der Natur“ ist ein Werk von Anton Lehmden. Die Beauftragung erfolge seitens der Wiener Linien 1987 und die Fertigstellung 1991 als „erstes Wiener U-Bahn-Kunstwerk“. Die Darstellung auf der Stirnwand soll den Urknall verkörpern und die Bildnisse an den Seitenwänden sollen die Jahrmillionen lange Geschichte der Erde darstellen. Das Kunstwerk hat eine Gesamtfläche von ca. 360 m² und besteht aus rund 4 Millionen daumennagelgroßen Glasmosaiksteinchen. Das Glas dazu wurde in der Glasfabrik Udine in Italien angefertigt und von Absolventen der Mosaikschule Udine gebrochen. Einzelne Teile wurden in Italien „gelegt“ und fertig nach Wien transportiert, der größte Teil wurde allerdings in mehr als zweijähriger Arbeit unter Anweisung des Künstlers in Wien verlegt.
