Description
Deutsch: Die weihnachtlich dekorierte nördliche Hälfte des Wiener Rathausparks im 1. Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
Rechts der sogenannte „Herzerlbaum“, der an sich die unter Naturschutz stehende Platane (Nr. 566) ist. Links der Bildmitte ein Christbaum auf der Wintereinhausung eines Springbrunnens und ganz rechts eine weitere unter Naturschutz stehende Platane (Nr. 567). Die Platanen wurden um 1872 gepflanzt, als der Stadtgärtner Rudolf Siebeck den einstigen Parade- und Exerzierplatz zu einer symmetrisch angeordneten Parkanlage umgestaltete.
