Description
Deutsch: Wien WVB SL D (L4 585 + l3) Innere Stadt, Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Ring / Schottentor. - Der Tw L4 585 wurde 1961 von der SGP gebaut. Die Beiwagenserie l3 (1701 - 1900) wurde 1959 - 1962 von der Firma Gräf & Stift in Wien-Liesing hergestellt. Die letzten Triebwagen des Typs L4 wurden 1984 ausgemustert, während die Beiwagen des Typs l3 bis 1986 in Betrieb waren. - Schon 1276 erwähnen Urkunden das Schottentor. 1155 wurden irische Benediktinermönche nach Wien berufen - diese irischen Mönche nannte man Schotten, daher die Namen Schottentor, Schottengasse und Schottenring. - Dr. Karl Lueger (1844 - 1910) war in den Jahren 1897 bis 1910 Bürgermeister von Wien. Der Teil der Ringstraße von der Schottengasse bis zur Verlängerung der Stadiongasse am Rathausplatz / am Parlament wurde 1934 nach Dr. Lueger benannt. Seit 2012 heißt dieser Teil der Ringstraße Universitätsring. - Scan von einem S/W-Negativ. Film: Ilford FP 4. Kamera: Minolta SRT-101.
