Description
English: As reprinted from 2008 CDHS Heritage Calendar:

'Rumour has it that this cottage came from the Bon Echo Inn property and was floated up the lake to its current position on the north side of Campbell's Bay on Mazinaw Lake. On its trip up the lake the building turned over and was left for the winter, surrounded by ice. This development might have discouraged some people, but not true cottagers! The following spring the towing job was completed and the building reached its new home, not too much worse for wear.'
