Summary[edit]

Description
English: This early photo shows the inside of Wickware's Store which was purchased in 1903 by Ora Wickware's father (Philip Almont Wickware and wife Mary Wise). The store is in the current location of Grand's General Store across the road from the Barrie Township Hall.

The young girl in the photo is Ora Wickware with her parents Philip Almont 'Mont' and Mary.
In 1914 the store was sold to Joseph Wise. After Wise, the store was purchased by Wheeler, Spencer and Gibson-Watson, then Goodfellows around 1974.
