Description

"White City" amusement park in New Orleans, Louisiana. 1908.

Park was at Carrollton Avenue's downtown river corner intersection with Tulane Avenue, 1907 - 1913.

Artist' "bird's eye" view shows the park fronting Carrollton Avenue with the Carrollton/Tulane Belt streetcar line running in front, various amusement rides, and what looks like a large blazing fire at one corner.
