The first thing that a boy or girl ought to doat an entertainment or a motion picture showin a public hall is to look around and see wherethe big red signs that mark the exits are. Incase of fire walk, not run, to the exit nearest yourseat. Many schools have such exits, and all chil-dren can learn to go through a fire drill as ifthey were real firemen, taking their way throughsmoke and flames. The street department needs you, too. It needsyour work in keeping your sidewalk clean, andyour garbage can clean and covered. Do not scat-ter rubbish, or tamper with the street water hyd-rants.
