Que seria del dia del amor y la amistad sin un baño de espuma. Me estoy haciendo adicta. I'm getting addicted to these. This valentine's day, how could I ever forget it. I was expecting roses, I won't lie; from anyone! but they never arrived. I panicked or I broke down, not sure which one. I remember my eyes got watery and I knew I couldn't have this at work, but I couldn't help myself, the emotion was too great. I hadn't received any flowers the previous two years, so why was I expecting them now. As a matter of fact, that should have given me a clue--not receiving any flowers the last two years. Because I broke down is that I got up from my desk, grabbed a form to request vacations from work, and started looking at prices to go home. I wanted my mom, my brothers and sisters. I wanted to be with the people who loved me. The trip made me feel back in control, back to looking forward to something...so even though I had cried earlier, I was pampering myself that evening, knowing I'd be flying to my mom soon... |
