Deutsch: Denkmal für die im Gefecht bei Werbach am 24. Juli 1866 gefallenen badischen Soldaten; das Denkmal wurde von A. Ammersbach aus Wertheim 1867 in Sandstein ausgeführt. Auf zwei Seiten des Denkmals sind Namen, Herkunftsort und Truppeneinheit von insgesamt 19 im Gefecht bei Werbach gefallenen oder im Nachgang an den Verletzungen verstorbenen Soldaten aufgeführt. Zudem sind noch zwei Dragoner aufgeführt die auf einer Patrouille in Walldürn nach einem Scharmützel ums Leben kamen. Dieses Scharmützel fand bereits am 23. Juli statt. |
