Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Weekday Cross, Nottingham. Weekday Cross, in the Lacemarket area of Nottingham, was the main market place in Nottingham before the Norman Conquests. Later it moved to the Old Market Square. The actual Weekday Cross, first mentioned in 1549, was pulled down in 1804. The "Quilted Llama", seen in the foreground of the picture, is a two-floor lounge bar which has interactive happy hours - roll a dice and with winning numbers get free drinks! (Information courtesy of Google, not experience!) Update: Since the picture was taken, the Quilted Llama has closed down.
