Description
English: Henryka Zarzycka-Dziakowska (code name "Władka", b. 10 November 1927[1][2]) from Battalion Parasol after arriving in the city centre from the Old Town via the sewers. Warsaw Uprising: Polish partisans from the Radosław Group photographed after escaping from Warsaw's Old Town to the city centre via the sewers. They began their five and a half hour journey at Krasiński Square and emerged at the junction of Warecka and Nowy Świat streets in the early morning of 2nd September 1944.
Polski: Henryka Zarzycka-Dziakowska ("Władka") z baonu "Parasol". Powstanie Warszawskie: Żołnierze zgrupowania "Radosław" po kilku godzinnym przejściu kanałami z placu Krasińskich do ulicy Wareckiej na Śródmieście, nad ranem 2 IX 1944.
