Description
English: WarsawUprising: Jan Uniewski (Łuniewski ?) "Lumeński" from tank platoon "Wacek" of ""Zośka" Battalion in the opening of a German Panther tank around Okopowa Street. Jan Uniewski was a driver-mechanic who repaired two German tanks, for that he got the first Cross of Merit with Swords in the Uprising.
Polski: Powstanie Warszawskie: Jan Uniewski (Łuniewski ?) "Lumeński" z plutonu pancernego "Wacek" batalionu "Zośka" we włazie zdobycznego czołgu typu "Pantera" w okolicach ulicy Okopowej. Jan Uniewski był szoferem-mechanikiem, który uruchomił dwie "Pantery" zdobyte przez powstańców, za co został odznaczony pierwszym w Powstaniu Krzyżem Zasługi z Mieczami. Nazwisko mechanika jest inne w każdym ze zródeł: nr. 1 Jan Lesmeński, nr. 2,3 Jan Łuniewski, nr. 4 Jan Uniewski "Lumeński".
