Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Baar-Ebenhausen wurde 1984 durch Zusammenlegung der Gemeinden Baar und Ebenhausen gebildet. Dieser Vorgang kommt in der Zweiteilung des Wappens mit den jeweils ortsspezifischen Figuren zum Ausdruck. Die heraldische Lilie, ein Mariensymbol, bezieht sich auf das Patrozinium St. Maria der Pfarrkirche von Baar. Die Kirche war im Spätmittelalter Mittelpunkt einer florierenden Wallfahrt. Die blaue Lilie steht damit für den Ort Baar, der seit dem Mittelalter ein wichtiger Verkehrsknotenpunkt (Flussübergang, Straßenknotenpunkt) war. Die Gugel, eine mittelalterliche Kopfbedeckung, stammt aus dem auf Siegeln überlieferten Wappen der Ritter von Ebenhausen, die im 14. Jahrhundert vor allem als Kastner von Pfaffenhofen und Pfleger von Rottenegg genannt werden und in der Gegend (Ebenhausen, Nörting, Hönighausen, Tegernbach) begütert waren. Die Gugel war auch Hauptfigur in dem 1969 angenommenen Wappen von Ebenhausen. Der Wellenbalken, ein heraldisches Gewässersymbol, steht für die geografische Lage der Gemeinde an der Paar und redet für den Ortsnamen Baar. Die Feldtingierung in Silber und Blau verweist auf die über viele Jahrhunderte andauernde Landesherrschaft der Wittelsbacher. |
