Object history Die strahlende Sonne und das zweigeschossige Haus weisen auf das Iserter Schulhaus hin, das als „Haus der Sonne“ eine historische Bedeutung für die Schulreformen im Westerwald gehabt habe. Der Leopardenkopf steht für die territoriale Zugehörigkeit der Ortsgemeinde Isert zur Grafschaft Sayn und später zur Grafschaft Sayn-Altenkirchen. Durch Berghammer und Rodungshacke werde der Abbau des Eisens, aber auch die Anlegung der Siedlung durch Rodung symbolisiert.
