Description
Afrikaans: Monding van die Wamirivier by die dorpie Saadani in Bagamoyo, Tanzanië, gister. In oranje die rivier met sy pluim sedimente voordat dit met donkerblou oseaniese water vermeng raak. In donkergroen rooimangliet (Rhizophora). Ten noorde van die mond, in ligblou en groen, in die vorm van meetkundige figure, is voormalige soutpanne wat tans vir marikultuur benut word (vir meer daaroor, kyk Mutatini, A., 2013, hieronder). Op die vasteland in ligte persgroen meestal oop savanne. Sand, branderskuim en wolke vertoon wit, en die wolkskadus swart.
Português: Foz do Rio Wami, na vila de Saadani em Bagamoyo, Tanzânia, ontem. Em laranja o rio e sua pluma de sedimentos antes de se misturar com águas oceânicas, em azul escuro. Em verde escuro mangue-vermelho, Rhizophora. Ao norte da foz, em azul e verde claro, na forma de figuras geométricas, antigas salinas, atualmente sendo utilizadas para maricultura (+ info veja Mutatini, A., 2013, abaixo). No continente em verde claro arroxeado principalmente savana aberta. Areia, espuma das ondas e nuvens em branco. Sombras de nuvens em preto.
English: Wami Rive mouth at Saadani village, Bagamoyo, Tanzania, yesterday. In orange river and its sediments plume at sea before mixing with oceanic waters in deep blue. Rhizophora mangroves in dark green. North of the mouth, blue and light green geometrical shapes are old salt ponds, now being used for mariculture (+ info see Mutatini, A., 2013, below). At land, in purplish light green, mostly open savanna. Sand, surf foam and clouds in white. Cloud shadows in black.
