| Description |
English: The official western terminus of Georgia State Route 40 (Main Street) at U.S. Routes 1, 23, and 301, as well as hidden Georgia State Route 4, and exposed Georgia State Route 15 (all Second Street) in Folkston, Georgia. You'll notice yet another erroneous Georgia State Route 23 sign facing northbound traffic for US 1, 23, and 301. Main Street continues west as an unmarked local street through Folkston, passing by the Folkston Funnel, the intersection with Georgia State Route 121 and the REAL Georgia State Route 23, and then continuing into rural Charlon County where it becomes Gibson Post Road at the intersection with Gowen Drive. |
