Description
English: Wyoming Highway shield. This is a template used for the creation of other shields. To use this template, simply change the numbering in Inkscape or any other SVG editor, change that to a path, and then upload it to the commons as WY-x.svg (where x is the number). For two digit routes only.

Public domain This file is in the public domain because it is prescribed by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, sign number M1-5. Wyoming adopted the MUTCD in 2005. ". The federal MUTCD states specifically on page I-1 that:
Any traffic control device design or application provision contained in this Manual shall be considered to be in the public domain. Traffic control devices contained in this Manual shall not be protected by a patent, trademark, or copyright, except for the Interstate Shield and any other items owned by FHWA.

No provisions of the supplement supersede this provision of the MUTCD.
