Description

This plaque is at the entrance to the Victoria and Albert Museum, on the right-hand side of the main doors. It commemorates the completion of the museum and the opening by His Majesty Edward VII in 1909. On the left-hand side of the main doors is another plaque which was laid for the original opening of the museum by Queen Victoria.

This is not an object in the museum's collections, but rather a part of the museum building itself. It therefore has no accession number.
