Deutsch: Schlosskapelle Wörth an der Donau. Unvollendetes Gemälde eines Kreuzes ohne beschrifteten Titulus im Stil eines jansenistischen Christus. Das ist die Bezeichnung für die Gestaltung des gekreuzigten Christus mit empor gestreckten statt der sonst üblichen ausgebreiteten Arme. Die Darstellung geht auf Cornelius Jansen (Jansenismus) zurück und war von der katholischen Kirche zeitweise verboten. Die enge Armstellung soll die enge Pforte in den Himmel symbolisieren. "Eher geht ein Kamel durch ein Nadelöhr, als dass ein Reicher in den Himmel kommt." Der Maler ist unbekannt. |
