Description

18 August 1983 was my lucky day! After a long slow day at the fence of RAF Wildenrath this machine appeared on finals. Other visiting aircraft that day were an overshooting Buccaneer from RAF Laarbruch, a Jaguar from RAF Brüggen, a Hercules C3 from RAF Lyneham, and a privately owned Gnat T1 (XS101).

XH561 was flown to the fire fighting school at Catterick in March 1984 and scrapped.
