Summary[edit]

Description
English: Vredesboom (Dutch: Tree of peace) in the town of Lebbeke, Belgium. This tree was planted in 1918 to commemorate the end of the WWI. It will be sowed in september 2005 because it has becomen to fragile (because of it age) an can collapse in any time. It was announced that a work of art will be created of its wood.
Русский: "Дереов мира" в посёлке Леббеке, Бельгия. Это дерево было посажено в 1918 чтобы отметить конец первой мировой войны. Дерево будет спилино в сентябре 2005 года потому что из-за своего возраста оно стало слишком непрочным и может обрушиться в любое время. Предполагается, что из древесины "дерева мира" будет изготовлена скульпртура.
Nederlands: Vredesboom in Lebbeke; opgaande linde geplant in 1919 op het kruispunt van Kouterbaan, Leo Duboisstraat, Bellestraat, Lange Molenstraat. Geveld in 2005 en vervangen door een jonge Hollandse linde.
