Description
Dansk: Votivtræ. Skikken med at forære sutter til "suttetræet" kan betragtes som en sidste rest af den ældgamle respekt for træer. Her er det et Majtræ (Prunus padus), som er modtager.
English: Votive tree. The custom of leaving comforters on a tree, when they are no longer needed, may be regarded as a late example of the age-old respect for trees. In this instance a Bird Cherry (Prunus padus) is the receiver.
