Description
English: Coats of arms of the von Entringen Family
Deutsch: Laut Siebmacher: Entringen (Taf. 50). (Hohen-Entringen, O. A. Herrenberg). Adalbert v. Antringen 1075. Friedrich v. A. und sein gleichnamiger Sohn 1140. Berngerus liber dictus de E. et Albertus frater suus, adhuc servus (noch nicht Ritter) 1245. Konrad, Eberhard und Otto v. E. Gebrüder, Domherren in Strassburg 1247. Beringer v. E. 1224 - 1232 Bischof von Speyer. Berengerus nobilis vir dictus de Antringen überläßt 1259 einen von ihm zu Lehen gehen, den, von den v. Königsbach an das Kloster Herrenalb verkauften Zehnten u. A. in beiden Derdingen gegen Entschädigung an das Kloster. Die später genannten v. E. gehören nicht mehr zu dieser Familie. Wappen: ein mit drei Ringen belegter Schrägbalken. Nach Grünenberg ist der Schild rot, der Schrägbalken gold, die Ringe blau. Helm: zwei durch einen blauen Ring zusammengehaltenen goldene Büffelhörner. Decken: blau gold.
