Magyar: A felvételek 2011. július 19 -én kedden készültek Budapesten. Az OSA Archívum és a budapesti Cseh Centrum a SZABADSÁG HANGJAI című kiállítást rendeztek a Nádor utca 11 alatti kiállító helyiségben. Kiállítás a müncheni központú amerikai rádióadó történetéről. A Szabad Európa Rádió több mint négy évtizeden át sugározta műsorait a keleti blokk országaiba. Az adás megkezdésének 60. évfordulója alkalmából 2011. július 14-én kiállítás nyílik a Centrális Galéria közreműködésével, mely bemutatja a rádió történetét az amerikai kezdetektől a müncheni sugárzáson át egészen az 1994-es prágai költözésig. A Szabad Európa Rádió jelentős szerepet játszott a hidegháborús konfliktusban. A hagyományos sajtóorgánumokkal ellentétben a rádióhullámok könnyen áthatoltak a vasfüggönyön. A Szabad Európa Rádió a kommunista titkosszolgálatok célkeresztjébe került -- az 1981-es bombamerényletben az épület egy része meg is sérült. A "szabadság hangja" több nyelven szólt: csehszlovák, lengyel, bolgár, román és magyar emigránsok beszéltek a müncheni mikrofonba a mindenkori célország nyelvén. A kiállítás bemutatta az egyes osztályokat, valamint azt, hogyan hatottak az adások a hidegháborús korszak társadalmi-politikai eseményeire, így például az 1956-os magyar forradalomra vagy az 1989-es csehszlovákiai bársonyos forradalomra.
Rendezők: A Közép-európai Egyetem OSA Archívuma, a Szabad Európa/Szabadság Rádió Kutatóintézete dokumentumainak őrzője, a müncheni és a budapesti Cseh Centrum, a Cseh Külügyminisztérium intézetei, melyek kulturális és tudományos programjaikkal 11 éve képviselik a Cseh Köztársaságot a dél-német régióban és Magyarországon. A prágai Totalitárius Rendszereket Kutató Intézet a cseh kommunista közelmúlt tudományos kutatásának központja, s a csehszlovák állambiztonsági iratok archívumának kezelője. A Kelet-Európai Tanulmányok a müncheni Ludwig - Maximilian Egyetem és a Regensburgi Egyetem közös, kiemelt, nemzetközi és interdiszciplináris MA-képzése. A Collegium Carolinum cseh tartományi kutatóközpont több éves tapasztalattal rendelkezik a jelenkori kelet-közép-európai kutatások területén. A kiállítás első, német nyelvű változata 2011. június 29-én nyílt meg Münchenben. A jelenlegi, angol és magyar nyelvű budapesti kiállítás után New Yorkban, Ljubljanában és más városokban is bemutatkozik. Látogatható: 2011. július 14-től augusztus 24-ig.
