760+ Galaxies can be seen in this image. (Also see the annotated version) Most of the PGC galaxies are at 1300-1700 million lightyear distance. Skywatcher Esprit 100 f5.5 refractor and Canon 6Da. 43x300 seconds iso1600 stacked in DSS with 24 Flats and 173 bias frames. Very basic processing in Pixinsight (DynamicBackgroundExtraction, HistogramTransformation, ColorSaturation) Knight Observatory Tomar. |
