Summary
[edit]DescriptionVilla Verbruggen1.jpg |
English: This villa is built in a prominent waterside plot in the new district of IJburg, Amsterdam by MPA (Michel Post Architecten). The client wanted a minimalistic house with a large atelier space, and lots of natural light.
The atelier is located on the ground floor, and has a double height. It has a large glass facade, trough which there is an abundant supply of natural light. The living quarters are located on the top floors; though large exterior spaces make this feel like it is the ground floor. A steel staircase leads to the roof, where a giant terrace provides uninterrupted views to all sides. All floors are connected via a generous staircase and an elevator. |
