| Description |
English: Viewpoint on the B3351 towards Brownsea Island & Poole. The camera is pointing due north in the general direction of Poole. The Cross channel ferry terminal at Lower Hamworthy is visible in the distance on the left. The tower, centre left, is probably part of the oil well site on Goathorn Plantation. Brownsea island is behind the tower occupying most of the middle distance. Is Poole harbour the largest natural harbour in the UK or maybe Europe. Is this true? |
