Summary[edit]

Description Video- the ones with more water in them are relatively safe. This one was bubbling constantly all the time, giving a rather surreal feel to the place, the harsh heat notwithstanding. This is near Gobustan in Azerbaijan. Detailed notes about mud volcanoes as well as more pictures appeared earlier in this album.(a couple of more pictures also appear after this). Note to my Facebook viewers: This video had uploaded correctly onto Facebook but for some strange reason seems to have disappeared. So this video is only available on Flickr).
