Description
English: Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta, CINC, ENC, paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble President Srimati Droupadi Murmu on 08 September 2022. On behalf of all uniformed and civilian personnel of ENC, he felicitated the Hon'ble President and briefed her about activities conducted by the ENC in its Area of Responsibility. ENC is one of the two operational Commands of the Indian Navy, headquartered at Visakhapatnam, which is also the home port of the Eastern Fleet. It is customary for the Commanders - in - Chief of the Armed Forces to call on the Supreme Commander upon assuming office.
