Description
Français : Ventilation de l'aval du cylindre non-infini. On observe les différentes structures de l'écoulement, à savoir le tourbillon en fer à cheval au pied du cylindre (très lié au profil de la couche limite sur la plaque d'essais), l'allée de tourbillon de Bénard-Karman, les deux tourbillons naissant sur l'extrémité libre du cylindre, ainsi que le courant de ventilation qui plonge dans la zone dépressionnaire existant dans l'allée de tourbillons de Bénard-Karman.
English: Ventilation of the downstream of the finite cylinder. The various structures of the flow are observed, namely the horseshoe vortex at the foot of the cylinder (closely related to the profile of the boundary layer on the test plate), the Bénard-Karman vortex alley, two vortices emerging on the free end of the cylinder, as well as the ventilation current that plunges into the existing low pressure zone in the Bénard-Karman vorticity path.
