Description
Norsk bokmål: Vasshjulet ligger ved Losbyelva i Lørenskog og ble bygget i 1865. Vannet ble ført til hjulet i en 105 meter lang renne fra Mønevann. Vasshjulet var drivverket for Østmorksaga, som var en av de siste oppgangssager drevet av vann. Saga ble nedlagt i 1953 og i dag står bare Vasshjulet igjen.
English: Vasshjulet ("The water wheel"), situated by the Losby river in Lørenskog county. This wheel was erected in 1865 to power the Østmorksaw - one of the last water-driven timber saws in Norway, in use until 1953. Today, only the wheel remains.
