Description

Часы карманные. Принадлежали адъютанту Ф.В. Ростопчина поручику Василию Андреевичу Обрескову (1782-1834). Лондон, начало 19 века, мастер Эдвард II Элликотт. Алмаз, золото, металл, фарфор, стекло; штамп, выпиловка, гравировка. ММК

В часы вложена дарственная надпись потомков Обрескова с надписью: "В родной уланский музей на память от полковник(а) Маслова часы, принадлежавшие моему прадеду Обрезкову, который был в 1812 году адъютантом у генер(ал)-губер(натора) Москвы Ростопчина. По преданию и рассказам бабки Обуховой, рожденной Обрезковой, по этим часам адъютант Обрезков отдал приказ начать жечь Москву согласно приказу Ростопчина до подхода французов.
