Description
English: Cassier's Magazine of December 1894 had an article on page 163-176, titled John Ericsson, the engineer. Among the illustrations was this, showing the first adaptation of Ericsson's ship propeller, on the steamship Vandalia, making her first trip from Oswego i November 1841, shown at page 173.
