Vajrasatva Yab-Yum: vajrasattva , the sixth Dhyani Buddha is generally known as the priest of the group of five Dhyani Buddha. Heis seated in rajraparyakasana.Sakit is shown embracing buddha. She holds the kartri in her right hand and kapala in her left. In tibet, the word "yab" means the honorabale father and "yum" means the honorabale mother . Thus, "yab-yum" means the father in the company of the mother orin her embrace. this form depicting the ultimate eternal bliss has a deep spiritual significance- God,the embodiment of sunya represnts perfection having attained sunya (karuna)and therefore it is the highest stage of Nirrvana. |
