Description The cockpit of Bert Filippi's Focke-Wulfe FW44J This FW44J was the basic trainer for the German Luftwaffe leading up to WWII. This aircraft was manufactured in 1940 is owned by Bert Filippi and based at Serpentine airstrip in Western Australia. The airfield at Serpentine is owned and managed by members of the Sport Aircraft Builders Club.
