Description
Español: Coccoloba uvifera. La Coccoloba uvifera, conocida popularmente como uva de playa o en país de El Salvador como papaturro, en Cuba "Uva Caleta" es un árbol leñoso de tamaño medio, usado también como arbusto ornamental, por su tendencia de crecer en horizontal. Es de la familia Polygonaceae. Su hábitat natural se encuentra en las playas de toda la América tropical y El Caribe, incluida Florida.
Français : Coccoloba uvifera, le raisinier bord-de-mer est un arbre de petite taille, de la famille des Polygonaceae, à fort développement horizontal. Les plages d'Amérique tropicale sont son habitat naturel et il a été introduit sur de nombreux autres rivages tropicaux. Les fruits forment des grappes qui rappellent celles du raisin, ils sont comestibles.
