Description
English: Universal Colliery Memorial Garden in Senghenydd. Part of the Memorial Garden which opened in October 2013 on the site of the former Universal Colliery. The greatest loss of life in a British mining disaster occurred at the colliery on October 14th 1913 when a gas explosion killed 439 miners.
