Description
English: Title: Una pentola di pace vale una di guerra

Abstract: Italian political cartoon shows a group of men in the center of the background, they are blindfolded delegates to the Congress of Berlin, in the front is Otto von Bismarck labeled "Prussia", behind him is Aleksandr Gorchakov labeled "Russia" and Gyula Andrássy labeled "Austria", others in the group are labeled "Italy", "Francia", and "Spagna". They are holding sticks with which they hope to break one of the two large overturned pots (pinatas) shown in the foreground. The pinata pot on the left is labeled "Pace" and standing next to it is a men labeled "Inglese"; the pinata pot on the right is labeled "Guerra" and standing next to it is an elderly Turkish man. There is a sword blade or bayonet extending from beneath the peace pot and an olive branch extending from beneath the war pot. In the background, on the left, standing behind a barrier, are representatives of middle and far eastern countries, and standing behind a barrier on the right are representatives of European countries.
