Summary

[edit]
Description
English: German leaflet, dropped during the Cassino battle. Written in very good Polish, it reads: [heading] "Poles! You are going to Cassino! [main text] Polish soldiers! You are in great danger. You have avoided Katyn, you managed to get out alive from the bolshevik paradise. So far you have been lucky – but now you are unwanted. Stalin, who intends to destroy your fatherland, does not like integrated Polish units. Your leaders in London received fom Moscow the instructions to do away with you in a simple way. So far you have been on quiet positions in the middle section of the Italian front. Now you will be thrown to the Cassino hell. Few years ago Stalin sent a team of murderers to do away with your colleagues in Katyn. But the English are smarter. They send you to Cassino, so that you can die like heroes. Polish soldiers! Do you realize the game you are in? There is only one option left to you: come to us and you will see your fatherland again. Protected by German soldiers, who with their own chest defend Europe, and also Poland, from the bolshevik onslaught, you will be in positon to work calmly as you like and please. One word: Homebound! will decide upon your future, the life and death. Give this password to the first German soldier you meet, and the road to your fatherland will be open."
