Description
English: Irrigation Work. Udaipur, Rajasthan

This traditional, cattle-driven water wheel is used for irrigation in a village outside of Udaipur. The cattle are decorated in celebration of Diwali, a week-long Hindu festival that celebrates the homecoming of Rama and Sita (an episode from the Ramayana) with fireworks and gifts.
