Description
English: QURAH ISLAND, Kuwait (Jan. 25, 2011) Kuwaiti military personnel and dignitaries celebrate the 20th anniversary of the liberation of Qaruh Island, Kuwait. Qaruh was liberated by U.S. and Kuwaiti forces on Jan. 21, 1991, and was the first territory to be restored to Kuwaiti sovereignty from Iraqi occupation during the Gulf War.
